US Air National Guard airman Jack Teixeira has been charged for stealing and sharing classified military information on a Discord chat group. Teixeira, who worked as a cyber defence operations journeyman, faces charges under the Espionage Act of unauthorized retention and transmission of national defence information, as well as unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents. If found guilty, he could serve up to 10 years in prison.
