Lyft is set to make "significant" cuts to its workforce, according to CEO David Risher, who said the move is part of a restructuring exercise to help the company better "meet the needs of riders and drivers." Although Lyft has not revised guidance for Q1, the layoffs will affect more than 4,000 full-time employees who will be notified of their fate by email on 27 April. The firm has not confirmed how many people will be cut although a report by The Wall Street Journal, citing anonymous sources, suggested that 1,200 workers would be affected.
