A while back in February me and a select group of students were nominated for induction to the National Society of Leadership and Success! According to their site, the NSLS is the nation's largest honor society for leadership and success. Park University is a member school. Its chapter was founded and established in 2006. Me and several others are currently in the process of completing tasks and prompts needed for induction to the NSLS. As of right now, the last step to induction is to form a success networking team and submitting a report about our team's engagement and the results of our efforts. 

At the time, I didn't really know what it meant to be nominated to an honor society and what it would entail for me. But after going to orientation, attending meetings, hearing from other members and recruits their stories, and participating in activities and seminars I got more and more motivated, inspired, emboldened, and invested in the NSLS!

This badge is from the NSLS's Foundations of Leadership program, a program designed for new members. The badge represents my certification of completing the first several tasks needed for induction. Me and my member colleagues are almost there. Along with my daily routine and tasks, I also have honor society stuff to do as well, from watching seminars to doing all kinds of prompts, both common and uncommon.
