How successful are you with AI-generated art?

I have been playing around with a few AI-generated art tools. 

I agree that there is an art to providing the right prompt, but I was unsatisfied with the results even after a few attempts.

I am not a designer, but I was more happy with the results of my work using a tool like Canva. 

Good designers know that creating a good design is a series of steps. No wonder all the jokes about file names like:

final.jpg
approved_final.jpg
minor_changes_approved_final2.jpg
this_should_be_the_final.jpg

Even after this, when businesses think that they can replace designers using AI tools, I am not convinced.

As a non-designer, have you gotten a satisfactory output from an AI regarding design?
