Yesterday's topic was: How do we deal with stress and manage to stay productive?

It was a pretty interactive session.

I think at times when we are going through a rough phase in our lives or a stressful phase, we tend to be unproductive and put things aside because they're too overwhelming.

Here are the 3 key things that resonated with me:

šŸ”Š Prioritization

At times, we tend to fail to prioritize what's more important or urgent, especially when we have loads of tasks on our To-do list. It's advisable to sit down, go over your to-do list, and come up with an actionable list of tasks that can be completed within a certain timeline. From the most important to the least important.

šŸ”Š Break down the tedious task into mini-tasks.

Instead of spending hours on just one task, which is boring, you can break it down into smaller tasks that you can do and cross them off your list. When a task becomes boring, we tend to push it aside.

šŸ”Š Unwind/ Take a breather.

I think this is one of the most important things we can do to beat monotony.

Go for a walk, take a power nap, go to the gym, or do anything to refresh yourself. We are more productive when we're relaxed mentally.

šŸ¤ž Whenever you're feeling stressed and unproductive, keep this in mind

I am inviting you to our next week's event on "Talking about..." by <@atqLYb3fRDYgmbffiZEWxXOTvNs1>
