Approximately 16 trillion $PEPE tokens (equivalent to ~ USD 15m) were moved from their multisig CEX wallet to various exchanges, including OKX, Binance, Kucoin, and Bybit. The number of required signers was suspiciously reduced to j out of 8.

Internal Struggles

From the start, $PEPE was marred by internal discord. Several team members, driven by greed, hindered the project's progression. These individuals made completing any collective actions, including token donations or purchases, difficult.

Rogue Actions

Yesterday, these problematic team members covertly accessed the multisig, transferred huge tokens, and then recused themselves from the project altogether. They wiped their social profiles and left a message saying, "the multi-sig has been updated; you are now in full control."
