Just 2 weeks ago, I had the amazing opportunity to qualify for and participate in the Data Science Nigeria (DSN) 2023 AI Bootcamp. It was an exhilarating journey.

The adventure began with a qualification hackathon, which happened to be my very first hackathon since I embarked on my machine learning journey.  Completing it not only boosted my confidence but also secured my coveted spot at the week-long bootcamp.  

Throughout the intensive one-week bootcamp, I immersed myself in the world of AI and data science like never before. From delving into Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for the first time to deepening my understanding of computer vision, each day was a rewarding experience. I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement during the computer vision sessions, as I found myself connecting concepts I had studied in the deep learning course on Coursera.

The bootcamp also included engaging sessions on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and eye-opening insights into research. One of the standout moments was the chance to explore student research posters, offering a glimpse into how posters are structured.

In just one week, the DSN AI Bootcamp has provided me with an incredible learning experience that will undoubtedly shape my path forward. I can't wait to see where this exciting journey leads next!
