FEAR, ANXIETY, & THE UNKNOWN

We all have been there. We've all woken up in the middle of the night with panicked thoughts, " Did I input the information correctly?", " Did I follow up with them? Answer the email?" "Did I post on that platform?"

These thoughts cloud our minds and jeopardize our productivity. The mind can play subtle and not-so-subtle tricks on you. In a second, self-defeating messages can make or break your day.  It's the thoughts that make your reality. It's not easy but with practice, you can change your mindset.

I have a morning routine that helps me clear my head for the day and be ready to face whatever comes. If needed, I take a five-minute focus break during the day. I breathe and take a moment to step back, just a moment and I can get clear to take the next step. It is useful to have something, a foundation to rely on so you have a place to land, a solid footing, during the fear and anxiety-ridden thought days.
