Was talking to my uber driver and he has been to other countries. He was saying his overseas girlfriend was surprised he made ' so much money' in the united states. She was currently living off $63 a month and when he told her he had rented out his house for 2,000 she was like, "you didn't tell me you own a mansion". Hearing that made me laugh a bit, I was like wait until she starts living here and seeing the prices of things around here. There $2,000 is a lot while here it is so little. Just learning more about my country i guess. There are things here i wish were different while other things i can appreciate.
