This week's #ThrowbackArt "Pearls of Wisdom" 2018 Acrylic on stretched canvas 14" x 18" Story: I painted this during one of my many lunch breaks at my former job in retail back in 2018. I was inspired by the phrase "pearls of wisdom", so this is my take on it. I was still in my anime/manga phase at the time and also my surrealist phase. I gifted this to a friend. I love literature and reading and creative writing, and I find that these are beginning to have a strong influence in how I form ideas and designs in my studio art practice 😀 Also, I definitely could use pearls of wisdom since today I just got out of my first exam of the semester which I didn't do very well in.
