🚨 GOOGLE SHEETS / EXCEL USERS ⚠️ please help me! I'm sure the solution is obvious, but I can't figure the dang thing out. Column A tracks the date range (irrelevant but context) Column B tracks number of members Column C does nothing but annoy me I want Column C to display the change in member count as a percentage. I have tried the following formulas. I will use real numbers to better demonstrate what I mean, but for reference (B2) is (25) and (B3) is (42) ...

Try =(E9-E8)/E9 and format as % (that was in google docs). The math formula will give the basic decimal value, like 0.42444 and the format will automatically do 42% I think the secret is that the percent part comes from formatting, and not the formula. Hope this helps.
