I'm Clinton Uche Akalazu, a Master’s student in Informatics focusing on Data Science at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, expecting to graduate in December 2023. Specialized in Python, R, and SQL, I have adeptly utilized machine learning libraries like sci-kit Learn, TensorFlow, and Keras in various projects. In my current role as a graduate research Assistant, I played a pivotal role in developing "HolidayBuzz-ContentClassifier", enhancing user engagement through accurate content classification using CNN architecture. Furthermore, my contributions in flood forecasting, where I developed a River Gage Height Forecasting Model using advanced deep learning techniques, underscore my commitment to leveraging data science for solving complex, real-world problems.

In my previous role at Hamoye AI Lab, I was instrumental in a retail project, where I enhanced sales strategies through insightful data analysis and effective ML model deployment which includes Clustering, Association minning and classification, resulting in a 10% monthly sales increase. 

I hold certifications from IBM as a Data Science Professional and from Oracle as a Cloud Infrastructure Data Science Professional, underscoring my commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices. With clear and effective communication skills, I am not only able to work independently but also collaborate seamlessly with teams to drive project success.
