Full-time Senior Network Engineer position - onsite

Requirements
Experience :- 8+ years in Core networking

Proven experience in a network administrator role

Hands on experience in networking, routing, and switching of Legacy, Nexus & Meraki devices.

Nexus ACI (added advantage)

Excellent knowledge of best practices around network management, control, and monitoring of DC/server infrastructure

Expertise in networking protocols

Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.

Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies

Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking.

Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and improving the efficiency of current network environment. 

should posses customer facing skills and lead the team. 

Customer interactions for network related incidents and should posses good problem solving skill

Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, Meraki SD WAN devices, DNS, DHCP & Wireless Controllers

Configuring firewall rules, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and enhanced security

Daily operational issues & their troubleshooting

Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting

Arranging scheduled upgrades

Investigating faults in the network

Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases

Reporting network status to key stakeholders

Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve major/complex issues.

Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure

Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
