I'm here again! 🤗

I've been studying project management methodologies lately and I'm trying to explain them in simpler terms. My goal is to help people who aren't project managers understand that they've been using these methodologies in their everyday lives without even realizing it.

Before we start, I just want to say that I'm not trying to change any definitions that you might already be familiar with. I just want to give you a clearer picture of these methodologies beyond the technical jargon.

Today, I want to talk about Agile methodology. The analogy I have might not be perfect, but I hope it does the trick. 😂.

Have you ever had your hair braided at the salon? I used to and it would bother me when the braider would stop to ask me if she was braiding my hair properly and how I liked it. But, looking back, I realize that she was doing an amazing job. She would stop at intervals to get my feedback and occasionally I'd ask for some changes to be made. She always made those changes and it made me happy as a customer. 

And that's where Agile methodology comes in. This methodology is iterative, incremental, flexible, and collaborative. It values customer feedback throughout the development process. This means that the end product is usually of better quality and customers are more satisfied.

However, there are downsides to Agile as well. It requires a lot of collaboration and communication, and it can take a lot of time to complete projects. The entire cycle of definition, development, testing, feedback, and refactoring is a cumbersome process that requires time and many other resources.

I hope this explanation of Agile methodology is easier to understand for non-project managers. 🤗
