I've attended several networking events recently and noticed they often share similar challenges: a lack of purposeful and targeted interaction. It seems that meeting the right people is left almost entirely to chance, primarily because initiating meaningful conversations is difficult when you know little about the attendees' interests and aspirations. I frequently leave these events feeling that my time could have been better spent, having not formed connections of substantial value. I wonder if we cannot solve this. I happen to work with a company that recently created an app for a different market, however I think it might apply really well to help solve these networking event...
