I often receive connection requests on LinkedIn, but many seem generic outreach without a clear purpose. Building a strong network is crucial, but quality over quantity is key! ✨

👉 Before hitting "connect," ask yourself the following questions 👈 

1️⃣ Relevance: How does this person connect to my journey and interests? Are they in a similar field, working on something I admire, offering valuable insights?

2️⃣ Specificity: Why them specifically? What can I learn from their expertise or offer them in return? Can we potentially collaborate on future projects?

3️⃣ Value exchange: Can we add value to each other's journeys? How? Can I offer feedback, share resources, or connect them with someone in their network?

4️⃣ Goal alignment: Does this connection align with my career goals? Is it relevant to the type of projects I want to work on or the skills I want to develop?

5️⃣ Engagement: Have they interacted with my content or profile? Do they share similar interests and values? This suggests a genuine connection beyond just adding numbers.

6️⃣ Personalization: Can I provide a personalized message that shows I've done my research? Mentioning a specific project they worked on or an insightful comment they made demonstrates genuine interest.
