What if neurodiversity is the next evolutionary step for mankind? Genetic diversity and mutating for context are cornerstones of evolution. Maybe neurodivergence is just nature's way of specialising human roles?

If this is true, we're currently treating NDs like they're some kind of mistake, an error or a bug in the code

We're looking down or past people because of their differences, when those differences can be cultivated into talent - but we're living in a world of indifference and/or exclusion and a lot of judgement

At the moment, the perception is that the majority are neurotypical and there's a subset of neurodivergence. That majority judges the minority, and now has the power of social media to reinforce their beliefs and attitudes towards NDs

On top of the NT need to keep ND down or apart, we as NDs frequently socially isolate and are perfectly capable of destroying our own self esteem and confidence without any external input. We keep ourselves in a box

So here we are, haywire brains capable of incredible things but boxed in, by ourselves and by NTs, feeling like broken humans and wondering why potential can't be achieved or why perspective seems so unique

The answer lies within you. Leave the box. Take off the mask. Be who you truly are and do it fearlessly. Accept the judgement and let it slide off you. You define you, not them. Use your specialist skills and talents at any cost, create the conditions for success if you have to. Don't wait for permission or approval, this is all you.

The more you leverage your unique talents and perspective, the more you'll achieve, and the more confidence you'll gather. If you stay in that box, you'll stay limited by other people and never really stretch your legs....and you can really sprint...so stop sitting in a NT defined box, break out and go as fast or as wild as makes you happy...
