"Meeting people where they are" is important. Seeing where they are and asking them to come to us - like, "It's better over here." - is NOT meeting people where they are. People cannot even hear our message, and we cannot teach something new, or offer a new product or service, if people are "starving" for knowledge, basic living needs, or other painful needs. They have to get, at least, the promise of their needs being fulfilled if they will move to us and our ideas, products, or services.
