The trends for the country, and the rural production sector, must mature every day and it is up to governments to create the conditions for this. 

Brazil has in its territory a gigantic potential and with a regional distribution that determines a diversity of species, cultures and that represent a favorable differential to add value. 

In the current context, a plant and its various species that are present in all states of the national territory. Bamboo, in addition to its vast occurrence in the country, is present in many properties, in forests and even in cities. 
Studies and research point to characteristics that highlight the benefits for the soil, in the recovery of nutrients, in the conservation and improvement of water. 
In the context of carbon sequestration, the plant has numerous advantages.
With the recent climatic events, bamboo should occupy a fundamental role in the protection of slopes, in the construction of houses and even in food. The immense application in different sectors of energy to the Bioeconomy. 

Bamboo has already been contemplated by Law 12.484 of 2011. which highlights the strategic potential for the development of the Bamboo Production Chain. The sustainable maintenance and encouragement of cultivation meets the needs of a new agriculture, and will provide the basis for a value chain, which will be reflected in the generation of new technology-based products, with the replacement of polluting materials in replacement of fossil fuels, plastic and even, in many cases, steel. In addition to job creation, it is crucial to regulate the law. 
All that is needed is the political will and the mobilization of sectors that will gain legal certainty for initiatives to develop an ecologically balanced economy, meeting the global trends for a response to climate change and the new reality that the planet is demanding.
