Luke Mathews, one of the power houses of LinkedIn got banned recently, and you won't believe for what this time! 😱

A CEO/owner of an agency from Pakistan (from what I remember) created a redesign of Luke's landing page for him, with a hook about how he works for Luke and other big creators (which he himself cleared later on), and tagged Luke without asking him, and asked his followers/readers to spam (mention) Luke Mathews in the comments.

This was completely unprofessional and I even went in the comments to mention how horrible it was.

Luke himself didn't appreciate this and mentioned how this wasn't appretiated in the comments of that post.

In the end, looks like with the back and forth, Luke himself ended up getting banned with such a huge account and following. ❌

What i want to point out with this is to be mindful of your actions, imagine how that agency wanted to just attract Luke, rather ended up contributing to him getting banned.

Not only does that alienate Luke as a potential creator who'll work with you, rather most creators in the space would stray away from that person/agency.

There are good ways to be valuable to others and to build connections, spamming them and ruining their online presense isn't one.
