 ANYONE can add themselves to a company page on LI. 

Unfortunately, it's not easy to get “fakers” removed…

And it’s a perfect way for scammers to establish apparent credibility

Make sure to do your homework before applying to a “job”

A few signs to avoid scams:

-Make sure they have at least a few hundred connections. 
-Check out the company's official page and make sure they have that job listed.
-Look over their entire profile and look for signs (Incomplete job history, AI “About” Section, No Recommendations, etc…)

Might seem like an obvious trap...

But imagine you've been looking for a job for 6 months, and someone finally "recognizes" your worth.

Look out for yourself.
