Taking a moment to reflect on where it all began… The painting you see here is of Assurance House in Leicester, the building my late grandfather eventually owned. He started from very humble beginnings, losing his own father at the age of eight, but was driven to make something of himself. He went on to found his law firm here and grew it to become one of the most successful of his generation in the 1950s. It was here, during my school holidays, that I took on various odd jobs—filing paperwork, making coffee for partners, and walking through those corridors.
