Stop writing OpEd pieces and painting it as fact. Go back to journalism that included citing sources properly with verifiable links. I'm a digital world, if you're commenting about legislation, I should have a link to the actual text of the great bill being discussed in the article. At a minimum use the proper reference so I can look it up if the link is too much of a burden.
