Selflessness

Many spiritual and religious texts speak about the importance & duty of us acting selflessly. 

Alcoholics Anonymous says, "What has been given joyfully, with love, must be passed on without reservation & without expectation."

Lord Krishna said in the Bhagavad, "To action alone hast thou a right & never at all to its fruits; let not the fruits of action be thy motive..."

Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Thought for the day: Focus on being selfless today. Is there anyone who needs help? Is there something that you can do to help another person? Can you do something for somebody else without expecting anything in return?

Action for today: I will focus on the path of union through action.
