Thank you Nyekachi, Bright Land, Mr Triplet, James, Dmitriy, and others who popped in and out tonight on our call. I thought it was fun to get Mr. Triplet's perspective and also parts of his visit to Disneyland while he was there. And please think about what we discussed: 

Clearing obstacles that get in the way of your calling involves both practical and inner work. Here are some steps that can help you move forward:

1. Clarify Your Vision
Define Your Calling: Write down what your calling means to you. Be specific about what you want to achieve, why it matters, and who it impacts. This clarity helps you stay focused even when obstacles arise.
Break It Down: Break your vision into smaller, actionable steps. Each small win builds momentum and confidence.
2. Identify Obstacles
Internal Obstacles: These include fear, self-doubt, limiting beliefs, or lack of confidence. Reflect on what’s holding you back emotionally or mentally.
External Obstacles: These could be financial limitations, lack of time, or people who don't support your vision. Acknowledge these roadblocks so you can create a plan to overcome them.
3. Overcome Internal Obstacles
Reframe Limiting Beliefs: Replace negative thoughts like "I can’t" with empowering ones like "I can learn" or "I’m growing."
Build Resilience: Accept that setbacks are part of the journey. Use moments of self-doubt as opportunities to reconnect with your purpose. Practicing gratitude, mindfulness, or prayer can strengthen resilience.
Self-Worth: Cultivating strong self-worth is vital in pursuing your calling. Trust that you are capable and deserving of success despite moments of doubt.
4. Address External Obstacles
Create a Support System: Surround yourself with people who believe in your vision and can offer guidance, encouragement, and resources.
Skill Development: Invest time in learning skills that will help you navigate the practical challenges, whether it’s financial planning, time management, or leadership.
Strategic Planning: Make concrete plans to handle external barriers. For example, if finances are an issue, find alternative funding options or plan for slow growth.
5. Take Consistent Action
Set Micro-Goals: Take small, daily steps toward your calling. Consistent action creates progress and dispels inertia.
Be Adaptable: Sometimes, obstacles force you to pivot. Stay flexible in your approach, but stay true to your core calling.
6. Stay Spiritually Aligned
Prayer/Meditation: Regular spiritual practice can help you gain clarity, strength, and perseverance. Pray for wisdom to see the right path and the courage to follow it.
Reflect on Philotimo: Honor, duty, and integrity can guide you through challenges. Keeping these values close ensures that you navigate obstacles without compromising who you are.
7. Seek Guidance
Mentorship: Look for mentors who have faced similar challenges and can offer wisdom and guidance. Mentors can help you see obstacles from new perspectives and find solutions.
Community Support: Whether through your business, your faith community, or other networks, engage with those who share your values and can walk alongside you.
8. Clear The Path
Naysayers: There are two kinds of naysayers. The ones who love you and just want to see you "stop hurting yourself" with the "stress" and "frustration" of doing things "the hard way". As entrepreneurs we all have friends and family who think we should just "get a job" and stop the pain of working towards our calling. Don't blame people for not understanding why you NEED to commit to your calling. Not everyone gets it. Shield people from your frustrations who cannot take it, and only vent to people who support you or can help you move forward. Also, there will be people who truly just want you to fail so they don't have to try. Those people are the ones you can get rid of from your life (if possible). 
Small jobs: Don't think taking a step backwards is always bad. Boxers sometimes have to step backwards to deliver powerful punches. Fitness goals sometimes need to be rethought and you have to lower your weight or reps if you have an injury or you want to build stamina on top of strength. Running your business is the same. Sometimes you have to take a step "backwards" like firing your clients who take up 80% of your time but pay less than the others. Or taking a job that pays your bills while you work on your calling might be prudent. Just don't forget to prioritize the work on your calling in your spare time. It's all possible if you just believe it and keep working towards your goal each day. Even an inch forward is forward movement.
