~ Letters to the Past ~ How many times do we sit around and think about “what we should have done” or “what we could have done”? Do we get bogged down when we do this? Do we get depressed when we think about these things? For me, when I think about the past, I have a tendency to experience a sense of depression ; however, although it’s not clinical depression, it can ruin my day and drive me insane. There’s an adage that says if we obsess over the past or are worried about the future, then we are not enjoying the moment. This reminds us of the importance of “letting go” of the past.
