Traveling with our son, who is on the autism spectrum, can be daunting. Routine, predictability, and a quiet environment are essential for him. Before our family trip to Denver, I reached out to the United Airlines Corporate Office to explain our situation. I was overwhelmed with gratitude at how seriously they took our needs. They arranged for early boarding, assigned seats in a quieter section of the plane, and made sure the gate agents and flight crew were informed. At the airport, a team member met us at check-in and personally guided us through security and to the gate. The flight crew was exceptionally kind, checking on us quietly and offering extra flexibility during boarding and deplaning. Thanks to the coordination initiated by the corporate office, the entire journey was peaceful and comfortable for our son and the rest of us. It was a far cry from the stressful travel we’ve experienced in the past. We felt seen, respected, and genuinely cared for. That thoughtful support meant the world to our family and showed us that United Airlines is deeply committed to inclusive and compassionate service. We'll always be thankful for that experience.
