Traveling with our son, who is on the autism spectrum, can be daunting. Routine, predictability, and a quiet environment are essential for him. Before our family trip to Denver, I reached out to the United Airlines Corporate Office to explain our situation. I was overwhelmed with gratitude at how seriously they took our needs. They arranged for early boarding, assigned seats in a quieter section of the plane, and made sure the gate agents and flight crew were informed.
