Delta Airlines Tokyo Office completely rescued my travel arrangements. I was traveling alone in Asia and had a problem with my return flight to the U.S.—for some reason, the date was altered during a system malfunction, and I discovered it just a few days before my flight. I was panicking but decided to contact the Tokyo office rather than attempting to call international support. Best choice ever. The lady who assisted me was very calm and soothing, and she took care of everything like a professional. She even apologized for the problem even though it wasn't her doing, and got me on an improved flight with no additional fees. What I truly enjoyed was how they didn't treat me like a number. They kept me as a respected customer and made sure to go over all the details of what was available. Given that I do not speak Japanese fluently, I also enjoyed the clear English explanation. Big kudos to the Delta people in Tokyo. If you ever have a problem while you're in Japan, go see them—you'll be walking out a satisfied customer.
