​Embarking on the Char Dham Yatra by road from Delhi is a spiritually enriching journey that offers flexibility and scenic beauty. 
Route Overview:
Delhi - Haridwar - Barkot - Yamunotri - Uttarkashi to Gangotri - Guptkashi/Sonprayag to Kedarnath - Joshimath to Badrinath  -  Delhi
Start your journey from Delhi and reach Haridwar or Rishikesh to acclimate and attend the evening Ganga Aarti. Drive through landscapes to reach Barkot, the base for Yamunotri. From Barkot, drive to Janki Chatti and undertake a 6 km trek to the Yamunotri temple. Next you can proceed to Uttarkashi and then to Gangotri, the source of the Ganges.
Travel to Sonprayag, then to Gaurikund, from where you trek to Kedarnath.
After Kedarnath, drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Return to Delhi via Rudraprayag and Haridwar.​
