Just in case you don't know who Godwin Ajala was, let me educate you a bit about who he was and how heroic act saved thousands of lives on the 9/11 terrorist attack 24 years ago. 
Godwin Ajala was a qualified Nigerian trained lawyer who immigrated to America in 1995 for a better life. Upon arrival to America, he worked as a security at the World Trade Centre while studying tirelessly for the New York Bar Exam. 
When the towers were hit, witnesses reported seeing him REFUSING to escape, instead guiding countless strangers to safety until exhaustion overcame him. He slipped into a coma and died days later - never getting to see his wife and three young children again who were still in Nigeria. 
The cruel irony? Ajala was just about to apply for visas to bring his family to America. Every September, he would visit Nigeria to see them - September 2001 would have been their last separation. 
His friend said it perfectly: "His dream was that he would take the law exam, pass it, and bring his family here to witness his swearing-in. 
Instead, Godwin Ajala's name is now etched in stone at Ground Zero - a Nigerian who embodied the best of humanity when America faced its darkest hour.
