When I found out that my flight from Newark Liberty International Airport will be operated by Southwest EWR Terminal, I wasn't really sure what to expect. To be honest, each of my previous flights via EWR has been a little different—sometimes easy, sometimes busy, but never really personal. However, everything felt different this time from the start. I found a seat with easy access to an outlet, grabbed a coffee from a nearby shop, and watched planes come and go while I waited. Boarding was smooth—Southwest’s open seating might seem odd at first, but once you get used to it, it works really well, especially with the way their staff keeps things organized. Once on the plane, the crew kept the mood light, the announcements were clear and even a bit humorous, and the pilot’s updates made me feel like I was in good hands. For such a busy airport, Southwest’s setup at EWR made me feel relaxed and well taken care of. It wasn’t about fancy lounges or luxury perks—it was just an easy, pleasant journey, and that made all the difference.
