I never realized how much I have been desensitized by video games. Hours of COD and other gps games had instilled in me biases and lack of empathy that contradicted my emotions from my early years. In a world in which injustice and horrific events are broadcast and shown almost daily, I urge individuals like my past self to take time out of their day to remember that we are all human, and even if we are different.
