Surprisingly, specific teaching roles rank high on the AI susceptibility scale. For example, Business Teachers (Postsecondary) show an AI applicability score of 0.37, while Economics Teachers (Postsecondary) score 0.35, placing them among the top 40 most likely to be impacted. Even the broader "Educational Instruction and Library" group exhibits a notable mean AI applicability score of 0.23, ranking seventh among major occupational categories.

AI is frequently assisting with tasks such as information gathering and reporting, writing, and advising—roles where AI often acts as a coach or teacher. This suggests a significant shift in how these professions operate.
