I caught up with Piers Linney, former Dragon’s Den investor and Co-Founder of Implement AI, live at the Birmingham NEC.

Here’s what stood out from the conversation:

1️⃣ You can’t just talk about AI. You have to do it.
Piers says too many firms are still stuck in the “dial-up” stage of adoption. The winners will be the ones who act, not analyse.

2️⃣ AI won’t replace lawyers. Lawyers using AI will replace those who don’t.
Piers shared how law firms can map workflows, automate routine work and focus on higher-value client strategy.

3️⃣ Start small but think big.
Every industry is being re-engineered. The question isn’t if, but how fast you adapt. Test one process, see what works, then scale it. Momentum beats perfection.
