🌽 OpenSea CEO Reveals First Details of the $SEA Token

dfinzer, CEO of OpenSea, has shared the first insights into the upcoming $SEA tokenomics.

NFTs are no longer the main focus — in September, OpenSea’s trading volume hit $2.6B, with 90% coming from tokens, not collections. The new direction is “Trade Everything”, and $SEA will become the core of OpenSea’s revamped economy.

💬 TGE planned for Q1 2026
💬 50% of total supply will go to the community (OG users, campaign participants, and farmers)
💬 After TGE, 50% of platform revenue will be used for $SEA buybacks

💡 There’s a catch: a large airdrop means strong farmer pressure. To maintain its market cap, the project will need deep liquidity injections.
