This felt like a fitting way to end the year.

I’ve been featured by The Law Society reflecting on something I care deeply about:

How lawyers can turn their expertise into long-term career leverage, without burning out or shouting into the void.

Not “personal branding” for the sake of it.
Positioning with purpose.

A few principles I’ve learned the hard way:

• You don’t need to be known for everything. You need to be known for something.
Clarity beats volume. Pick a topic of influence and commit to it.

• Consistency matters more than virality.
Careers compound quietly. Showing up week after week builds trust long before it builds attention.

• Content should serve people, not platforms.
If it doesn’t help someone think, decide, or act differently, it’s noise.

• Collaboration is domination, accelerating everything.
You grow faster by building with others than by trying to do it alone.

• In an AI-saturated world, judgment, context and human connection are the real differentiators.

The Legally Speaking Podcast, the community, the opportunities that followed. None of it happened overnight.

It came from being intentional about where I added value and who I added it for.
