A few years ago, I started on this platform with zero agenda.

I had this naive idea that connecting with "Top Leaders" was a shortcut to money.

just to mention my first ever top connection to make was Kesavan Kanchi Kandadai  

(Will never forget. Am Honored to still have that connection)

I thought a connection request was a transa...ction.

I was wrong.  ofcause

I quickly realized these aren't just names on a screen—they are relationships.

They are mentors.

They are a way to learn the things they don't teach you in school.

My journey hasn't been a straight line.

Before the current me, there was a lot of noise.

There were major ups and downs.

I moved into a guardian’s house with my siblings.

I had to figure out how to navigate a world that felt like it was moving faster than I was.

In Kenya, the path is usually:

Highschool ->Graduate -> Get a computer certificate -> Hope someone hires you.

or

Highschool -> life

and Ofcause there are other paths you just have to chase them or be luck to have them.

I skipped the middle part.

I didn't attend a computer college.

I just got a laptop.

I had a gut feeling that if I could master the tools,

I could master my future.

I started with Graphic Design on Canva.

I sent cold texts to anyone who would listen, asking if they needed a designer.

FYI yes the laptop was while I took another course I took Institute Of Software Technologies 

I mean we all want to be different but not outside the world.

That "fak..e it till you make it" confidence 

landed me an internship at Metaverse Swapping - Metaverse Resource Hub  for social media.

I didn't have the experience.

But I had the "Business Development" mind.

Within 45  days,

I had surprised the CEO so much with my strategy that I was shifted to Head of Social Media.

There's a saying a master of

But even then, 

something was missing.

I had ambition that a 9-to-5 couldn't contain.

Sound Clichē? I know  (up to now am hoping it was a good idea)

So what did I do

I quit.

For a second, I worried I’d regret it.

 But you can't have growth without risk.
