STON.fi’s governance testnet proved one thing clearly: the DAO isn’t theoretical but rather it’s operational.
In just four weeks, the DAO received 115 proposals. That’s a strong signal. Governance participation takes time and conviction, and these weren’t low-effort ideas. They came from users who actively trade, provide liquidity, and rely on the protocol.
What stood out wasn’t just participation, but quality and range. Proposals covered UX improvements, technical optimizations, feature requests, and long-term ecosystem strategy. That tells us the community understands how STON.fi works, and where it needs to go.
A key driver here is ARKENSTON’s governance design. Voting power is non-transferable and tied to stake duration, aligning influence with long-term commitment instead of short-term capital. The result is more thoughtful proposals and less governance noise.
Most importantly, the testnet showed real feedback loops. Users identified friction points, proposed concrete fixes, and engaged in discussion. That’s governance moving from design to execution, shaping fees, UX, liquidity incentives, and the product roadmap.
