Sumay Parikh is Principal and Investor at Quake Capital. He has extensive experience in Venture Capital, Strategic Partnerships, Operations, Product Management, and Business Development. Sumay is the first Principal hire under Quake Capital (Labeled as top 10 Seed Investors in 2018 by Forbes and Crunchbase). Sumay also plays a role as a Board Observer to multiple companies. Prior to his entry in Venture Capital, Sumay was a Co-Founder and VP of BD/Ops for a VC Backed Startup. Sumay got his start into business by turning around and operating a hotel management company in Austin, TX selling off most of the assets while turning the remaining properties profitable. Before moving back to the East Coast, Sumay boot strapped a real estate investment fund as a managing partner raising over $20m in capital, deploying and constructing mid to high tier hotels such as Marriotts, Hyatts, and Hiltons

In addition, she is a Co-Founder of two tech startups that are both leading the way in their respective industries. Benjamin Reiter is Principal at Starta Ventures, a New York City-based accelerator program and venture capital fund which invests in early-stage European tech startups seeking to expand to the US. He is an experienced corporate professional with a multi-disciplinary background in business and nutritional sciences. Benjamin spent the first part of his career as an accounting analyst at a large media company, analyzing over $100 million in annual receivables from pay-per-view and on-demand television content. Prior to joining Starta Ventures, he pursued his passion for food and nutrition by engaging in advanced studies in that field. Benjamin has an MBA in Management with a concentration in Human Resources, and an MS in Nutritional Sciences. His core competencies include venture investing, data analysis, and conducting business and scientific presentations.
Venture Lawyer and Co-Owner Westchester Angels. Michael is a go-to resource and service provider in the tri-state entrepreneur and emerging company community. As a venture lawyer, Michael counsels emerging companies and startups throughout all phases of growth, as well as the angel investors that fund and acquire them. For entrepreneurs and emerging companies, Michael collaborates and works with founders from the spark of their idea to the successful growth and scaling of their companies. He provides outside general counsel and advisory board services that help companies create the proper legal and business foundation to make them investor-ready. Michael is also a co-owner, frequent investor, legal counsel and a member of the screening committee of the Westchester Angels, where Michael actively seeks companies for investment and runs due diligence teams for the Members. Michael is different than any other business attorney as he practices law with a business person’s mindset. A serial entrepreneur having founded 6 startups himself with several successful exits, there is nothing that Michael hasn’t experienced as either a lawyer or a business owner. Finally, Michael is an adjunct professor for entrepreneurship, leads legal workshops for the WEDC organization and teaches business and legal workshops at NYC tech coding schools. He is a frequent lecturer and panelist on business and law panels at conferences and a judge at pitch events.
