The Role:
We are seeking a Product Designer to help craft intuitive, accessible, and high-quality user experiences across our web and mobile applications. Our solutions serve both developers and business users, where usability and accessibility are key differentiators. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create solutions that balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring a strong foundation in interaction design, responsive web design, and accessibility best practices. You'll be responsible for translating research and requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, ensuring a seamless experience across desktop and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Design: Execute the full design process, from wireframes and prototypes to high-fidelity UI and design system contributions.
User-Centered Approach: Conduct usability testing and user interviews to gather insights and refine designs.
Accessibility & Inclusive Design: Ensure all designs follow WCAG 2.2 and Section 508 standards, making experiences usable for all.
Responsive Web Design: Design and optimize web applications for various screen sizes, ensuring a seamless mobile and desktop experience.
Design System Contribution: Help develop, maintain, and scale a design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across products.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to ensure alignment on requirements and constraints.
Prototyping & Testing: Create interactive prototypes and test ideas to validate usability.
Agility & Adaptability: Adjust designs based on feedback, changing requirements, and technical feasibility.
Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years in product design, UX, and/or interaction design.
Web Application & Responsive Design: Experience designing responsive web applications that function across desktop and mobile.
Design Systems: Experience helping develop, contribute to, or maintain a design system.
Usability Testing & User Interviews: Experience conducting research and applying findings to improve designs.
Accessibility: Familiarity with WCAG 2.2, Section 508 compliance, and inclusive design principles.
Design Tools: Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Miro, or similar tools, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX work.
Communication & Collaboration: Ability to clearly present design concepts and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Agile Workflow: Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and design iteration in an Agile environment.
Assets:
Experience working in enterprise software, SaaS, or developer tool design.
Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, React) and their role in design implementation.

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $85,000.00-$110,000.00 USD in on target earnings.
