About the role:
We are building out a team that’s standing up a platform to empower complex and customizable Workflows at Samsara, which will be used by Samsara developers and our customers alike. As an engineer on the team, you would be responsible for building out both frontend and backend components for our Workflows product. You’ll be involved in creating the infrastructure to run our systems as well as the UX and configuration layer that allows customers to create their own Workflows in our product.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US.
In this role, you will:
- Work with product managers, designers, firmware and infra engineers to architect, build, test and deliver full stack features across front-end, back-end and mobile. GoLang, GraphQL, Typescript, React and ReactNative are some of the components of our technology stack. Direct experience with these technologies is not required.
- Be responsible for maintaining the production systems that your team owns and provide operational support.
- Help build the culture of the team and make it an enjoyable place to work
- Solve problems that enable our product for our global customers
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success,
- Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
- Partner with other teams to take in requirements for prioritization and evangelize the platform we’re building
