Description
Enablement Specialist, Training
The purpose of the Enablement function at Alma is to provide the Customer Experience (CX) Team with the educational materials, process documentation, and resources they need to support Alma’s providers effectively and efficiently. As an Enablement Training Specialist, you will play a vital part in developing the onboarding and Learning & Development (L&D) materials required to set our CX team up for success.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective educational experiences to a rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate for this role loves training on Zoom, building self-study materials, and developing assessments to evaluate skills and recognize improvement.
What You’ll Do:
Work closely with the Enablement Manager for Training to identify and fill gaps in existing training materials.
Lead Zoom orientations and training for new CX team members.
Design skill assessments that support the CX onboarding process and encourage a growth mindset across the team.
Create continuing education opportunities to develop and engage team members over time.
Learn Alma’s product lines, systems, and brand voice so that you can effectively prepare the CX team to navigate customer operations and embody Alma’s values.
Who You Are
You have 2-3 years working in an education or learning & development role.
You have experience working at a startup, fast-paced work environment is a plus.
You are determined to find creative ways to engage trainees with multiple learning styles.
You are comfortable synthesizing and teaching complex and rapidly evolving information.
You are a clear active communicator, both verbally and in writing.
You excel at translating technical details into actionable takeaways for learners.
You are comfortable with tech, often an early adopter, and have extensive experience. with CRM tools. Experience with Zendesk is a huge plus.
You have cultural humility, can build relationships across differences, and have excellent communication skills.
