Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer - Trading Platforms who has extensive experience building, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance trading platforms. You will collaborate closely with our trading team, quants, and other engineers to ensure seamless operation of our trading infrastructure. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a start-up environment, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is a self-starter who can take ideas from conception to shipping. The role is in person in our NYC location. Responsibilities: Design and develop high-throughput, low-latency trading systems. Optimize and fine-tune the existing backend systems to ensure maximum performance. Collaborate with the trading team to translate algorithmic trading strategies into efficient code. Implement robust and fault-tolerant systems to handle mission-critical operations. Monitor and troubleshoot real-time tech issues, ensuring system reliability, and internal and external APIs stability Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the trading domain and propose relevant solutions. Required Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in developing high-performance backend systems, preferably in the financial sector. Strong proficiency in Python & C++ Knowledge of distributed systems, multi-threading, and performance optimizations. Familiarity with financial market concepts and electronic trading. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with Blockchain technology is a plus. Experience with a high-frequency or algorithmic trading environment is a plus.
