Description
You will:
Build slick and intuitive web applications using modern frameworks
Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems
Build new features for internal and external users
Participate in the product development process from start to finish, from helping scope projects to measuring their success and iterating based on user feedback
Work across design, product and engineers to build features that scale
Work with an internationally distributed team
We’re looking for someone who has:
5+ years development experience
Ruby 3, Rails 6 - 7, GraphQL, PostgreSQL 14, HTML, and CSS.
JavaScript (React + JS webpacker/babel) experience strongly preferred.
Comfortable with Cloud deployment and infrastructure: Gitlab CI, Docker, Heroku, AWS Postgres, S3, Lambda, CDN
Good English communication skills
Comfortable collaborating directly with founders, product leads, other stakeholders and subject matter experts
Take pride in shepherding projects from ideation to completion, where completion often involves partnering with operations to carefully roll out changes that affect their workflows.
Seek out feedback from your users and empathetically advocate for them throughout the product development process.
Startup experience preferred
