Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Engineering, InfraSec, Product Management, and client facing teams to ensure that the product roadmap for all of CorpAxe's products meet customer needs while being technically sound.
Own all backend tools from a product perspective.
Own all Infrastructure and Security systems, projects and initiatives from a product perspective and ensure impacts to and/or integration with any areas of the CorpAxe Platform are accounted for and integrated into the overall Platform roadmap.
Analyze and assess product initiatives CorpAxe should and should not take based on revenue opportunities, retention, client feedback, industry trends, as well as our vision and strategy.
Research and understand CorpAxe's clients, their workflows and the problems CorpAxe is aiming to solve for them.
Implement data tracking to drive product decisions.
Execute the CorpAxe vision and strategy by writing up product plans and stories and working with the Engineering team to implement them.
Maintain and groom the product backlog.
Help shape the product roadmap, including prioritization.
Manage sprints and the development cycle including:
Sprint Planning
QA Testing
Release Notes
Documentation
Timelines and Milestones
Requirements:
Must Have:
3+ years of work experience in Technical Product Management roles, working directly with
engineering, infrastructure, and security teams.
3+ years of work experience with Data Structures, Data Reporting, Databases, Web APIs and
Backend Web Applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – good at telling the story, the problems to
solve and the plan on how to get there.
Ability to think big picture and understand the problems we’re trying to solve, while also being
able to zoom in on the nuances of implementation.
Proponent of centralized systems, documentation and ways to scale yourself (and the product)
as a part of a growing team.
Strong technical skills including Azure Cloud, Postman, advanced Excel and data analysis, multi-tier application data flows, identity management and global-scale web applications.
Comfort with and experience working in ambiguity.
Self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
Detail oriented with a strong knack for problem solving.
Strong organizational skills and excellent follow through.
Resourceful: you don't always have all the answers, but you know how to find them.
Nice to Have:
Interest in finance and improving workflows between the buyside and the sellside.
Knowledge of buyside workflows, such as Corporate Access Meeting Management, Broker Vote,
Resource Tracking/Consumption.
B2B Experience.
Engineering/Development/Infrastructure/Security experience.
Design/UX experience and/or passion.
Education:
Bachelor's degree
