What You'll Do
Write performance, well-designed, tested and scalable Python code that sets a high bar for Renew’s engineering team.
Contribute to and help evolve Renew’s overall system architecture and technical roadmap
Build an maintain the infrastructure that supports our web products
Enhance and expand our Real Estate integrations systems, to ensure Renew can integrate with new partners and support growing customer needs
Design scalable backend systems and APIs services that can be easily used by other teams and internal products.
Leverage your experience to mentor engineers and provide guidance to teammates working on wide range of technical challenges.
Act as a champion for Renew’s mission, vision, and values and partner across the company to drive a high-performance work environment
Qualifications
7+ years experience writing Python in non-trivial, production environments in an agile team-environment
Prior experience working with a least one modern web framework. Strong preference for professional experience working with Django
Deep experience working with relational databases (ex: MySQL, Postgres), and caching systems in a production environment
Demonstrated ability to architect and build scalable backend systems and APIs
Significant experience working with at least one public cloud provider (ex. AWS, GCP)
Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including CI/CD, deployment and testing
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience at an early stage startup or with real estate technology is a plus
