Description
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about Waystar and the healthcare payments industry. The ideal candidate will be looking to enhance their career and expand their skill set. This unique experience will provide insight into a dynamic ever-changing and evolving industry, coupled with the opportunity to join a great company like Waystar.
As part of this internship experience, you will expand on your professional development skills as well as gain first-hand knowledge of a niche within the healthcare industry. Interns will assist the company with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, learning about the healthcare revenue management cycle, enriching data for our clients, reporting and insights and assisting across teams on various projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Intern Responsibilities:
Prospect new clients for the growth team
Assist with data clean-up within Salesforce to help growth understanding future opportunities
Understand lead flow and process of client requests
Creating top of funnel sales opportunities and validating leads
Complete the Waystar base camp training and go through an in-depth training of a segment of one of our products
Collaborate with Growth and Commercial Operations to understand how the two sides collaborate and lead to each others success
Attend meetings and professional development training
Fulfill tasks set out by manager from your respective department
Must be able to work 20-30 hours a week
Complete final project and present project to manager, buddy, and others
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

2nd Semester Junior or Senior; 3.2 or above GPA
Actively involved on campus and/or community
Majors/Minors: Open
Interest in healthcare and/or technology
Curiosity to go deeper into the projects given
Ability to adapt and pivot with competing priorities and/or deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
