Heal.me is a wellness practitioner discovery and booking platform with more than 6,000 practitioners across the US and around the globe, such as acupuncturists, massage therapists, chiropractors, etc. We're looking for an outstanding senior frontend engineer who can help us elevate our product to new heights. Your Responsibilities Include: Develop new user-facing features. Design and write efficient, well-tested, and highly readable code for future use. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. You have: 6+ years of software engineering experience. 3+ years of React experience. Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Expert knowledge of Javascript and frontend frameworks (React). Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails. Experience developing rich, reliable, cross-browser-compatible web experiences. Expert knowledge of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX. Experience designing elegant, expressive client-side Javascript APIs. Experience creating robust UI automation testing as part of the development process. An ability to translate designs into pixel-perfect HTML and CSS. Thorough experience of GraphQL, REST & API Practices. In-depth knowledge of database design and optimization. Knowledge of algorithms and data structures. Extensive knowledge of best engineering practices in agile software development: architectural paradigms, code reviews, branching, task management, documentation, testing.
