Carlos Jimenez is a young entrepreneur located in Costa Rica. Carlos started his career at the age of 18, advising startups in the USA and Canada into opening operations in Latin America for their Sales Departments. Later on, he got involved with Founder Institute, becoming one of the youngest Country Director in the world for these pre-seed global startup incubation programs. He served as Country Director for Costa Rica since 2018 and while simultaneously launching his own fin-tech startup in the region helping local startups getting funded via equity crowdfunding. Carlos recently got involved in Software Sales at Softon Digital as VP of Global Sales in Costa Rica selling software services to Fortune 500 corporations and venture-backed startups in the USA and Canada. Currently, Carlos is working on a Y Combinator-backed startup called Firstbase.io as the Product Partnership Manager enabling entrepreneurs worldwide to get access to the USA startup ecosystem.
