Bio
I am Clinton Uche Akalazu, currently immersed in mastering Informatics with a Data Science concentration at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. Proficient in Python, R, and SQL, I skillfully navigate through machine learning libraries like sci-kit Learn, TensorFlow, and Keras, turning data into meaningful, actionable insights. One of my key projects is the "HolidayBuzz-ContentClassifier", where I implemented CNN architecture to accurately classify social media content, thereby boosting user engagement during holidays. During an impactful internship at Hamoye AI Lab, I spearheaded a retail project, devising and implementing data-driven sales strategies that resulted in a 10% uptick in monthly sales. In addition, I developed a River Gage Height Forecasting Model for flood forecasting, applying advanced deep learning techniques to offer accurate predictions. Each of these initiatives reflects my commitment to leveraging the power of data science to address and solve complex, real-world challenges, with a harmonious blend of technical acumen and a deep understanding of the underlying principles of data science.
